The Cover: There have been so many good book covers with couples on them lately and I am head over heels for One More Time‘s cover! It embodies Jenna and Tanner perfectly, I love it! A+
Basics:One More Time was released on May 2nd 2018. Genre wise One More Time belongs to contemporary romance and second chance romance.
Description: Ten years ago, we were the toast of the town.
Tanner’s acting career had just begun. He was hotter than the stage lights, and twice as captivating. The gorgeous Australian A-lister was everyone’s teenage dream. And he’d picked or so I thought, until he proved to be as false as everything else about Hollywood. Now I’ve finally scored the perfect opportunity to star in a major film. The kicker? Tanner will be my co- star. I don’t know if I can do this one more time….
Right now, we’re the talk of the town.
Jenna’s even more beautiful than she was the last time we were together. And just like before, I can’t keep my hands off her. She still doesn’t know the truth. The secret of what really happened back then. Now I have the length of this shoot to convince her to rewrite our script. But if I have her one more time, will once ever be enough?
Overall thoughts: I want to start off by saying how much of a talented Laurelin Paige is! She just has this way with words that just transports you into the heart and mind of the character she’s narrating through and it is one of the most greatest reading experiences I’ve ever had. Second chance romance is one of my favorite genres when it comes to the romance community and book world; everyone loves seeing two people come back together after time and distance. It’s dramatic, romantic and in a way reminds us that sometimes love doesn’t fade. It doesn’t always happen but when it does, it’s magical.
Jenna used to be a well known model, now she’s putting up her heels from the runaway and trying to dive into the waters of acting. However this is Hollywood and nothing ever comes easy, she’s feeling pretty down about herself and her acting future until her agent offers her a deal of a lifetime. Problem is…she would act and reunite with Tanner, the man who broke her heart ten years ago. After deciding she can push away her broken heart, she rallies herself and signs on to act in the movie with Tanner, knowing that even if though their time together may be difficult she knows in the end it will help her.
Tanner is completely blown away when he sees Jenna again; she’s still the same woman he knew before but also different. The same feelings that withered between them ten years ago seem to blossom again, but Jenna wants to stay professional and Tanner suddenly finds himself falling for her all over again. You can’t fight fate and these two are definitely meant to be together.
One More Time is a beautiful second chance romance story with two characters struggling to figure out how they feel for one another. It’s one of my favorite tropes because as you read it, you really aren’t sure what’s going on or what happened between these two people but you juts want them to make it work! That’s how it is for me when it comes to reading second chance romance anyway! Tanner and Jenna are an electric couple and I loved how they couldn’t stay away from each other, even after ten years. One More Time is a great second chance romance read and if you are a fan of this genre you will definitely love it as much as I did!

Overall thoughts: It’s been a long time I’ve reviewed for Penelope Douglas! I loved her other book Punk 57 so much and I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to read and review for her again! Here’s the lowdown on Birthday Girl: Jordan is a hardworking but struggling nineteen year old trying to navigate her way through life with her boyfriend Cole. Pike is Cole’s father trying to stay in his son’s life and keep a relationship with him after struggling to do so for many years. When tensions rises and become rocky between Jordan and Cole, she finds herself in an odd situation with Cole’s father. Not only does she grapple with the fact that she’s starting to feel drawn toward her boyfriend’s father but also the fact that the man she is starting to feel things for is nineteen years older than she is. Which is ironic because that is Jordan’s age.

Favorite Quotes: “My heart isn’t here, isn’t with William. It’s out that door with Carson.” -Sylvie

Description: I never believed in fairy-tales. Never held out for Prince Charming.
Overall thoughts: The Swedish Prince was my first Karina Halle book and I can’t believe I hadn’t read any of her books up until now! I loved this book! Viktor and Maggie are such an amazing couple and I immediately wanted them to be together and rooted for them! Viktor is a Prince of Sweden and Maggie is a cleaning lady/guardian to her five younger siblings, they really do come from different places. When it comes to romance stories like this, a Prince falling in love with a commoner it’s usually the same old song and dance: they have a hard time being together because one person is royalty and the other isn’t. That trope is a little bit different for The Swedish Prince and I really liked that aspect.
Favorite Quotes: “He doesn’t belong to me. He belongs to another country. And I’ll be left behind in mine.” -Maggie

Overall thoughts: Please do not continue reading unless you’ve read Blood Oath before continuing with this review, minor spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned!!

About the Author: Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.
