Just Love, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by Prescott Lane is LIVE!
The Cover: Just Love‘s cover is so dreamy and gorgeous! I love the soft hues and just everything about this cover is very aesthetically pleasing.
Basics: Just Love by Prescott was released on June 9th 2019 and is a standalone contemporary romance.
Description: There’s two sides to every love story. The how you fell in love, and the how you fell apart. This is ours. The cardinal rule of friendship is you don’t mess with your friend’s sister. That goes double when she’s his little sister. It was just supposed to be fun.
She wasn’t supposed to end up being the love of my life. And I definitely wasn’t supposed to break her heart. Ainsley is a wedding dress designer. That should’ve been a warning that she’s a hopeless romantic. That should’ve clued me in that she believes love conquers all.
But there are some things that love can’t fix. I’m one of them. She thinks love is the answer. But love is the reason I let her go.
**A stand-alone, contemporary romance.**
Overall thoughts: Just Love by Prescott Lane was such a sweet, swoon worthy contemporary romance read! I love when contemporary romance books are put into not so ideal situations and man oh man the plot of Just Love was NOT an ideal situation, AT ALL. Which as a reader I LOVED because I love drama like that, for the characters? Not so much. Rhett has a crush on his best friend’s sister, his best friend’s YOUNGER sister and he has it bad. Ainsley fresh from college is trying to figure out the rest of the life and is a bit naive, she thinks love is the answer. As stated above in the description of the book, but ah we all should know better that love can’t fix everything. But it sure makes an interesting story for a romance book!
I don’t want to spoil any details, but I really enjoyed Just Love by Prescott Lane. Rhett and Ainsley have a great love story that I think any romance reader would devour and fall hard for. Pros of this book? I ADORED Rhett’s point of view, DEAR ROMANCE AUTHORS: more of your books need MALE point of views! I love Rhett in general, he has some typical annoying male issues (what male character doesn’t?) but I really enjoyed him. Ainsley is great too, I love how passionate and driven she is! Together again these two make one heck of a couple. The only con I had with Just Love is that sometimes I felt like the structure of some of the paragphs didn’t flow together very easily and made it a bit difficult for me to focus on the story and characters. But all in all, Just Love is a very solid contemporary romance book!
