The Cover: I like the vibe of the cover and the cover of the title with seahorse but I actually am not a fan of the cover model. He wasn’t what I envisioned when I imagined Trent but that’s just my personal opinion. Either way the cover is still great and gets a B+ from me. 

Basics: Scandalous was released on September 21st 2017, book four of the Sinners of Saint series and is 315 pages long. Genre wise Scandalous belongs to standalone and contemporary romance. 

Description:  They call him The Mute for a reason.

When he does, it’s with disdain. When he does, his words aren’t meant for me.
When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is thirty-three. I am eighteen.

He’s emotionally unavailable. And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.

And yet, I can’t stay away.
A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them. And oh, what a beautiful chaos it will be.

Overall thoughts: To be honest with you, I had a REALLY hard time getting into this series. Even reading several of these books as standalones I just couldn’t get into them! My first book was Vicious and honestly I hated it! I didn’t like the main guy at all and just felt really disgusted and disappointed throughout the entire book. However I am not a quitter when it comes to books people! So I gave this series another try and read Dean’s book, Ruckus Book Three of Sinners of Saint. I’m so glad I did because it made me want to pick up Scandalous and I’m so thankful I gave this series another chance.

 I adored Scandalous! It was such a great read and I loved the story! Edie and Trent are one of my favorite couples of the year and I seriously have a small obsession with them. There is something well (pardon the pun) scandalous about a younger woman being with an older man, add a kid to that mix and well things always seem to get interesting. There were lots of moments where I had to stop reading because my heart wouldn’t stop going crazy over these two! It’s just one of the things where you are reading something and you know, YOU JUST KNOW something either wonderful amazing or excruciating embarrassing is going to happen to the characters and that’s how I felt when reading Scandalous. But in a very good way!  I really loved this book and Edie and Trent are in the running for the hottest chemistry of the year.

The Cover: I think this cover is perfect for the story and setting of the book. It’s sassy but there’s obvious sexual tension which just makes the cover look alive. I love it! A+

Basics: Breaching the Contract was released on September 18th 2017, published by Pocket and is 130 pages long. Genre wise Breaching the Contract is  romance, contemporary romance and novella.

Overall thoughts: Breaching the Contract is a sweet story about two people who start out not liking one another but end up falling head over heels in love. Honestly it’s one of my favorite romance troupes. But this story is a little different because Tristan is a single dad which is something that is becoming quite popular in the romance book world. But I like it because it’s different and honestly brings something new to a couple’s story I think.

Kat is a bad ass heroine! She’s smart, independent and honestly I adore her. Anyone who is a twenty something or someone who isn’t used to child could relate to her. I really enjoyed Breaching The Contract however I wish it was a longer story because I really loved Tristan and Katerina.

The Cover: I am in LOVE with this cover! The tension with the kiss, the beautiful lace behind the text! Seriously head over heels in love with this cover! A+

Basics: Long For Me was released on September 4th 2017, published by Carina Press and is 219 pages long. Genre wise Long For Me belongs in contemporary romance. 

Description: My boss already controls my days; do I want to give him my nights, as well? 

Rebecca: I’ve seen what happens when you give everything to a man. That’s not what I want. I won’t have my heart crushed in anyone’s fist.

Then he changed everything. Him. Bennett Ashby. My boss.

Seeing him at Luminous, dressed in leather pants and wielding a whip…

Do I crave this? My mind says no, but my body is starting to have very different ideas.

 Bennett: I knew Rebecca Morales would be the perfect assistant. That’s why I hired her.
I didn’t know that working with her every day would lead to temptation—to own her, to possess her.

When she walked into Luminous, I knew I was screwed. Dipping your pen in the company ink is never smart, but we both agreed what happens at the club stays there.

One night and then it’s back to business tomorrow. Except I don’t want just one night with Rebecca. I want them all. 

Overall thoughts: Long For Me sadly is the last book in the Luminous series and I am going to miss it so much! But what a fantastic way to finish it off! I didn’t think anyone could compare to the first Dominate Me (which was the first book in this series and my favorite) but wow! I was wrong! Long For Me blew me away and I love each word from beginning to finish! Rebecca and Bennett’s chemistry literally leap off the page and had me reaching for my fan because WOW…those two are fiery hot. 

Each couple in each book had a different story or issue with their relationship and I honestly thought Rebecca and Bennett’s was the best because it was just tugged at my heartstrings a bit. I don’t think a lot of contemporary romance relationships touch on why some of their characters struggle of their past or issues they dealt with enough; so I really appreciated Rebecca’s story because it made their relationship more meaningful and special. 

If you want to read about a stubborn, hard working woman and a hot headed (but also stubborn, if not more!) man with mixed emotions that are deep as the ocean but has a such a steamy sexuality that makes you blush book, Long For Me is the book you are looking for and I highly suggest you read it. 

I am going to miss this series very much! Dominate Me was one of the books I reviewed after I started Amorette’s Reviews late last year and this series will always be special and close to my heart. Stacey Lynn has a life long fan out of this reader and blogger!
